So it’s happened again.
You’re on a road you didn’t even know you were on. It looked like the road you were supposed to be on. Or even planned to be on. Then lo and behold! It morphed into a place you never intended to go. Maybe even were trying to stay away from. How did that happen?!
Owning your steps at this point is key to fixing this issue. If you hadn’t been walking there, you couldn’t have gotten to this less than desirable point. Or if you had engaged with people differently or maybe been a little less secretive and manipulative or vague in your choices . . .
But there you are. What to do? How do you fix it?
Punish others for the big bad road rage you feel? Or own where you are because you got yourself there? People taking you the wrong way or you getting it wrong for yourself is part of the journey you chose.
Time for a new path and better – maybe even more transparent and direct – choices.
Even the bad paths can take you where you need to go. Getting it wrong can help you get it right. And sometimes more quickly than just puttering around with ‘mostly right’ choices.
Either way, truth and honesty are about owning your choices and not blaming the outcome on others. Or punishing others when things don’t work out your way, and you end up punished yourself somehow.
Nobody’s perfect. Start over. Believe in your choices and the power to make better ones next time. Ones that don’t rely on compromising others’ sense of integrity and good will.
Be worthy. Be truthful. Be honest. Be there.
Believe you can and will find your right path.
