Momdom: The Eternal Challenge

My Bicycle

A glorious, heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms of the world! Past, present and future  – ‘cuz ultimately, it’s all the same thing.

No matter where the ride began, where it is now, where it’s going or where it ends, Momdom is eternal. Even after you’re gone, the ride – and the signposts – continue to unfold into infinity. Perhaps even beyond that.

As with all great branding, the content may disappear, the packaging may alter or diminish in luster, but the NAME on the package will live on forever in the hearts, or at least the minds of those who called you by that name. And, of course, in the hearts and/or minds of those who became associated with and/or related to your progeny. Hopefully, this is mostly all good. And that’s what we’re celebrating today!

We celebrate all that we are and have been to those we’ve raised, nurtured, counseled and corrected over our tenure as a mom. This occurred through our awareness of what to embrace, consider, absorb and/or avoid in what we were taught by our own moms. And as Eternity grows nearer on our way to becoming grandmothers and great grandmothers, we hopefully find perspective on any of our own missteps and misadventures while still shining and sharing the love with those who surround us because of and, in some cases, in spite of who we have been at times as moms.

It’s a maiden voyage for all. Mom’s just our brand. Loving and living forever is what we do.

To blessings and an adventurous, memorable, ultimately cherished ride!

Sounds great! The weather here was a little too crazy for a picnic so we went to a Mexican restaurant. Nice evening!

Hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day and thanks for visiting! Will check out your blog as well.
